It is our distinct pleasure to have this cyber opportunity to reveal to you our wilderness paradise.  We are easily located in the center of the Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Our unique location provides you with an unlimited supply of outdoor forest fun, enjoyment and relaxation. Whether it's hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling or just to relax and penetrate your thoughts and peace of mind on Mother Nature. Here at Cross Country Cottage, we have everything outdoors right outside our doorstep. 

Please join us as we take you on a wilderness journey into the depths of our canopied forests, crystal clear rivers, lakes, streams, hiking trails, snowmobile trails and an unlimited supply of scenic treasures.

General Information

Our Cross Country Cottage has all the conveniences of home in the forest.  We provide you with a fully equipped kitchen, ready to serve up a country style breakfast or an evening fish fry. All linen, towels and bedding are available to you for your convenience. Our two bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 6 adults and provides a country-style atmosphere while pursuing any of our vast, outdoor recreation opportunities that await you.

• Open April 15 through December 31
• Monday - Saturday: Check-in 3 P.M. / Check-0ut 12:00 noon
• Sunday: Check-in 4 P.M. / Check-out 12 noon
• Two night minimum required for weekends.
• One week minimum required for holidays.
• Smoking Prohibited
• Pets are welcome
• Accommodates up to Six Adults
• Charcoal Grill
• Campfires
• Lakes & Trails in all directions.. In the heart of it all!

 

 

Rates

 

• $60.00 per night for 2 people
• $65.00 per night for 3 - 6 people 
• $400.00 per week
• All rates subject to a $60.00 deposit in order to secure your reservation.
• Two night minimum required for weekends. 
• Rates Effective 01-01-08

• We accept money orders and cashier checks.
• Personal checks accepted with 30 day reservation
  

 

 

 

Reservation Information:

Select the dates of your choice then contact us by  telephone, 
e-mail or submit your reservation request. A  50.00 non-refundable deposit is required when placing your reservation. Reservations made 30 days or less, full amount due within 5 days in order to secure your reservation.
